We ‘make’ villages rather than building soulless housing estates.
The best place to live is the where your friends are.
Imagine living in a beautiful village where you feel safe and inspired by your surroundings. A natural, healthy environment with friendly neighbours and where your children have places to play away from cars.
These are characteristics we associate with towns and villages of the past; but we’re bringing them back.
We build neighbourhoods set around greens and pedestrian pathways and provide allotments, orchards, woodland, edible lanes and all sorts of intriguing detail that bring a place alive.
And most importantly we create plenty of spaces in between the houses for people to add their plants, sculptures, mosaics or whatever it is that makes them feel at home.
It’s essential for any new place to connect with the existing one and its community. We do this by funding facilities like work hubs and sport centres which means everyone can benefit.
It’s all about finding out what people really want, bringing these desires into new design and making a great place to live. Watch our new video about the new houses in Great Oakley, Essex, below.
